Rain Expected to Hit Region on Monday

RIVERSIDE - Today's slight chance of rain tonight in Riverside County should grow stronger on Monday, the National Weather Service predicted.

The NWS forecast partly cloudy skies with a chance of measurable precipitation at 30 percent tonight, and increasing clouds overnight with a low about 43 degrees. A wind advisory was in effect through Monday morning with locally strong and gusty west winds predicted for the mountain and desert areas.

The rain chance increases to 60 percent in the region by Monday with showers likely after 10 a.m., according to the weather service.
