De Luz man suspected of shooting at wife, guest

DE LUZ - A De Luz man allegedly shot at his wife and a male houseguest during an argument and was behind bars today, a sheriff's department spokesman said.

Gary Thomas Gunia, 57, was arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for suspicion of attempted murder, making terrorist threats, spousal abuse and assault with a firearm, according to sheriff's Sgt. Kevin McDonald.

About 12:45 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to investigate a shooting in the 44500 block of Vista Del Mar, McDonald said.
