Quilt Guild meeting features guest speaker Maggie Ball

FALLBROOK – Those interesting in quilting are invited to attend the Fallbrook Quilt Guild’s March 1 meeting to hear an informative and entertaining presentation by special guest speaker Maggie Ball of Seattle.

Ball is called the ‘Ex-Pat Brit’ quilter and will entertain with her topic: “Gateway to Mongolia.” Ball will share her stories about her work in Mongolia, teaching the women to quit as a form of revenue. She will bring Mongolian artwork to include in her presentation and perhaps some for our purchase. Ball has several published books and has been featured in quilting magazines.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, Fallbrook.
