Law Enforcement Officers Recognized for Community Service

RIVERSIDE - During a convention today in Riverside, more than 150 law enforcement officers were individually recognized for their efforts to crack down on drunken driving.

The annual Mothers Against Drunk Driving California Law Enforcement Recognition Program was held at the Riverside Marriott downtown, where municipal police officers, sheriff's deputies and California Highway Patrol officers received awards for their work to stop driving under the influence offenders in 2011.
