One business is a sweet treat for Fallbrook

I am so impressed with the gentleman who owns and operates A Few Of Our Favorite Things in downtown Fallbrook. He is one of the few merchants who even stays

open on Mondays here in town, and this with everyone complaining about how bad business is here and many shops going out of business.

A Few Of Our Favorite Things is what a hometown operation should be about, in my opinion. At “candy holidays,” Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc., he drives to See’s and buys assorted boxes of See’s candy then brings them back to his shop and offers them for sale to Fallbrookians at the See’s store price!

He doesn’t mark the price up and donates the entire proceeds from candy sales to Children’s Hospital. This is someone who cares… let’s take advantage of this generous, caring man and shop his store, one of the few here that carry consistently quality merchandise, friendly service and good value. (And save ourselves a trip and dollars to go out of town.)
