Field hockey shared post-season team awards continue

Before Kathy Waite retired as Fallbrook High School’s varsity field hockey coach, she initiated the practice of team awards at the post-season banquet being shared.

Kirstin Mueller replaced Waite for the 2011 season, and the policy of no single player earning team awards continued at the Warriors’ post-season banquet Dec. 1 at Zion Lutheran.

“It’s not just one person working hard,” Mueller said.
