Students learn in their own garden

FALLBROOK – Classroom garden lessons at Live Oak Elementary School in February include learning about the “plant parts we eat.” With help from volunteers and support from the community and businesses, students are able to enjoy learning outside in their garden classroom.

Each month volunteers work in the classroom gardens with approximately 300 students...learning...planting...growing. The school is currently looking for sponsors for a “lady bug release.” For more information, or to sponsor the garden program, contact Jennifer Youngren at (760) 791-5194....
