FALLBROOK – Keegan LaBanz, a Life Scout with Troop 739, is looking for more local artists to help him with his Eagle Scout service project.
LaBanz would like to build six large trail markers for REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship Program. Each marker will have an 18” x 24” sign depicting an original cartoon-type character created by local artists and selected by REINS students. The markers will provide fun, visually stimulating landmarks for the special needs students to look for as they horseback ride. The trail markers will assist the instructors in teaching the students to navigate the trails.
Artists of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate. Anyone interested in volunteering their art skills for a great cause can contact Keegan LaBanz at (760) 728-9405 or email
[email protected] for complete contest rules, theme, and specifications. The deadline for submissions is March 21.
