Drive for 5 to save Palomar Mtn State Park

PALOMAR MTN – Volunteers are putting together a campaign to keep Palomar Mountain State Park open and fully operational. The park is slated for closure in July. Thus far, $65,000 has been raised against a goal of $180,000 to meet the three-year commitment necessary to keep the park open.

Volunteers are asking each area resident to reach out to five friends, neighbors, business contacts, etc. in hopes they will also support the endeavor.

Palomar Mountain State Park is scheduled to close in July, 2012.
