FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924 will offer a St. Patrick’s Day dinner, open to the public, on Friday evening, March 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $10/person.
Beginning March 2, the Post has been hosting dinner for five wounded warriors from Camp Pendleton’s Wounded Warrior Barracks each Friday evening. Four Marines and a Navy Corpsman were the first invitees. The first guests were enthusiastic and pleased with the food, the greetings, and camaraderie they found with the VFW combat veterans and guests they met.
