Diana Krall to make only San Diego appearance Aug. 10 at Pala

PALA - International jazz singing star and pianist Diana Krall will make her only San Diego-area appearance of 2012 at 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 10, at the Palomar Starlight Theater at Pala Casino Spa & Resort.

A three-time Grammy winner, Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Her latest album, “Quiet Nights,” focuses on Brazil and seven of its 10 songs are bossa novas.
