Buddhist monastery hearing continued to April 13

One of the two issues which led the county’s Planning Commission to continue its hearing on the Dai Dang Meditation Center in Bonsall has been resolved, although work on the other issue led to a continuance to April 13.

The Planning Commission heard public testimony on the proposed expansion of the Buddhist monastery on Feb. 10, but after a Bonsall resident in opposition recommended a turn lane for slowing traffic on Camino Del Rey and others noted that buildings close to the property line might prohibit aerial pesticide spraying of the adjacent avocado grove, the commissioners continued the h...
