Mathews selected as Pala-Pauma Sponsor Group chair

Charles Mathews was selected as the new chair of the Pala-Pauma Sponsor Group.

Mathews had taken over as interim chair in November after Tom McAndrews moved to Riverside to attend law school and resigned from the sponsor group. Mathews was elected as the official chair in January.

“It’s a great opportunity to help the folk of Pauma Valley become more involved in the land use and planning,” Mathews said.

Mathews joined the sponsor group in 2010. “I think that participation in local government is something we should all become involved in to the extent that we possibly can,” he said.
