Ninety-one years and still hitting the ball

FALLBROOK - Local residents Lillian Davis and Winnie Lindsay, both 91 years young, still play 18 holes of golf every Tuesday at Fallbrook Golf Club. Avid golfers for years, Davis joined the club in 1971 and Lindsay in 1976. Both are widows and good friends who seem to let nothing get in their way. Both women have served as chairwomen for the social committee and have been involved in planning and implementing many fantastic, theme-related golf tournaments.
