Palm Springs authorities looking for woman abducted this afternoon, allegedly by ex-boyfriend

PALM SPRINGS - A Palm Springs woman was abducted this afternoon, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend, a police sergeant said.

Police received a report of domestic violence and a kidnapping in the 300 block of West Mariscal Road around 3:30 p.m., Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said.

John Davis Wright, 31, allegedly broke into the residence of 24-year-old Elisa Hulett and forced her to leave with him, Kovaleff said.

''Wright was last seen pulling Hulett down the street from the location on foot,'' Kovaleff alleged. He added the police were not aware of any vehicles being involved.
