Pearl Harbor survivors speak to Scouts

FALLBROOK – After local Boy Scout Keenan Monge, 7, wrote a thank you letter entitled “How do we honor our Heroes?” as part of his work in social studies to local Pearl Harbor survivor William E. Greenhouse, he asked the veteran if he would be willing to speak to his troop.

Greenhouse did more than just that. On the evening of March 19, Greenhouse not only came to address the scouts but brought two other Pearl Harbor survivors with him - Chris Christiansen of the U.S.S. Argonne and Joseph Walsh, president of Chapter 31 of the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association.
