Quilt a Beast topic for meeting

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Quilt Guild’s meeting on Thursday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. will feature Jane Tenorio Cascarelli, a freelance artist, publisher, children’s book author, and quilter. She is engaging, humorous, and savvy to the multiple worlds of writing and art, as well as the quilting industry.

Everyone interested in quilting is welcome to hear her entertaining presentation called “Quilt a Beast” at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane.

A workshop with Cascarelli will take place on Saturday, April 7. The Tortilla Quilt promises instruction on speed piecing. From looking at her sample, it looks like this project can be a great stash buster. If interested, call Dixie Johns at (760) 451-0644.
