The bench, pictured above in front of 120 S. Main Ave., has been donated by the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club in memory of longtime member Marvin Van Voorst.
FALLBROOK - The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently dedicated a memorial bench in do wntown Fallbrook at 120 South Main Avenue to honor longtime member, Marvin Van Voorst.
Van Voorst was a dedicated car club member who helped shape the club for well over a dozen years through the generosity of his time and ideas.
Van Voorst and his wife, Joyce, had a yellow 1948 Jeepster which could be seen at every car club event from the Christmas Parade to the Fallbrook Vintage Car Show. Over the years his vehicle became a club icon.
