Senator Joel Anderson presents awards to Fallbrook Woman's Club

FALLBROOK – Tom Rogers, aide to California 36th District State Senator Joel Anderson, was at the meeting of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club on Feb. 14 to present certificates of recognition to members of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club. The certificate was presented to the Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO) group thanking them for all the time and effort spent working to improve the lives of those within the community.

The club was brought to Anderson’s attention when an article appeared in the Fallbrook/Bonsall Village News about the donations of children’s books to the Fallbrook Child Development Center, La Casita Child Development Center, and MAAC Project Head Start and Early Head Start. Approximately 250 books were given to the children to take home. Additional books were also given to the schools to be placed in their libraries.

ESO is an honorary sorority, part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Continuing Education Department. Through ESO, federated members have the opportunity to continue their education as they participate, at their own pace, in the sorority’s disciplined reading program.
