Patients asked for input on top nurses

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Hospital is once again seeking to honor one of its nurses through its annual Patient Choice Award program. This award recognizes the level of quality care, comfort and compassion offered by nurses each day. The hospital is asking for input from the community. The winner will receive the award at Fallbrook Hospital during Nurses’ Week, May 6-12.

Fallbrook Hospital asks former patients and family members to be involved in spotlighting an exceptional nurse because patients are the ones directly impacted by outstanding care.

“We are asking patients and their family members to provide us with the nominations because they see the little things that matter so much on a very personal level,” said Janet Colvard, chief nursing officer for Fallbrook Hospital.
