Mistrial Declared in Case of Woman Accused of Robbing, Killing Anza Man

MURRIETA - After learning of juror misconduct, a Riverside County Superior Court judge today declared a mistrial in the murder trial of a woman accused of fatally stabbing a 60-year-old Anza man, then squatting on his property with another man also accused in the killing.

Opening statements had just been completed and prosecution testimony was about to begin in the trial of Angela May Shaver when Judge Kelly Hansen called a halt to proceedings.
