Enforce the rules or don't have any

I am a dog lover, but believe in obeying the rules. The article in the Village News and the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce’s two-page spread on the Fallbrook Avocado Festival clearly stated “Pets are not allowed in the festival area!” I saw many dogs, albeit on leashes, and mostly big dogs, even a man with two Rottweilers.

Did the Sheriff’s deputies ask them to leave? Not while I was there. Maybe I missed the enforcement, but it really needs to be done. I saw many deputies, but did not see the dogs and their owners being asked to leave.
