Cache of controversial map surfaces - Artist will hold signing Sat., April 26

When a cache of fifty copies of a controversial map created in 2001 surfaced two weeks ago in Las Vegas and were returned to local artist and native Fallbrookian Brett Stokes, he had a decision to make – should they be made available to residents that have repeatedly asked him if there are any left, or not?

Stokes, who illustrated the map, well remembers the days after it was originally released, and the resulting anger that came his way. At the time, he made no excuses for the edgy presentation, but 11 years later, he sees things a bit differently.
