Hospice volunteers needed

ESCONDIDO – The Elizabeth Hospice seeks caring people to participate in the Spring Volunteer Training that will be held on May 29, 30, and 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Escondido Elks Lodge located at 2430 S. Escondido Blvd. in Escondido. Volunteer training is free and open to the public. Bilingual, military veterans and pet therapy volunteers are needed.

The professional staff at The Elizabeth Hospice teaches the comprehensive training classes. Graduates of this volunteer training will serve hospice patients and their family members that live in the graduate’s community.
