High wind advisory extended until tonight, gusts may reach up to 50 mph

RIVERSIDE – The National Weather Service has extended a Wind Advisory until late tonight. Winds of between 15 and 30 mph are expected, with gusts up to 50 mph.

These conditions will make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, and the National Weather Service advises to use extra caution, watching for broken tree limbs and downed power lines.

Visibility may also be reduced by blowing dust and sand.

Warmer weather and mostly sunny skies are expected to return Friday.
