FALLBROOK – April marks the 35th anniversary of Fallbrook’s popular Yogurt Palace. Originally opened by John Madeau and Jessie Henry, Yogurt Palace has grown while still maintaining its original style and integrity. Cindy Avina has owned the Yogurt Palace with her husband, Henry, for 12 years and has worked there for 23.
The history of this successful local business is told on its walls, which are filled with pictures of customers over the many years of its operation.
“I have been a part of this community for so long now, I don’t just have customers, I have friends and family,” said Cindy. “It is amazing because I have seen so many kids in Fallbrook grow up and now I get to meet their children.”
The cornerstone of the Yogurt Palace has been the focus on personalized service – friendly greetings that reinforce why people choose to live in Fallbrook. After three decades, this business continues to be a quaint, family-owned, one-of-a-kind that creates fond and long-lasting memories for families.
“I have heard the saying ‘it’s not personal; it’s business,’ but that saying has never really applied to me,” said Cindy. “Everything about my business is personal, that’s why I love it so much. We want to thank our friends for their 35 years of love and support and look forward to another 35.”
Yogurt Palace is located at 130 S. Main Ave. in historic downtown district of Fallbrook. For more information, call (760) 728-9027.
