Children's art show now on display at library

FALLBROOK – A school year’s selection of art created by children from local elementary schools is now on display in the children’s area at Fallbrook Library.

Students from Mary Fay Pendleton and other local schools participated in the Art Assist program in which fourth, fifth and sixth grade students were offered art lessons from artist volunteers with the Fallbrook Art Association. Lessons were based on nine design factors originated by the late Mary La Hue, founder of the Art Assist Program.
