Colburn becomes Goodmon Fellow

TRIANGLE, N.C. – Winkie La Force, President of Leadership Triangle, has announced that Fallbrook resident Wade Colburn, who attends North Carolina State University, graduated from the Leadership Triangle College Edition presented by AT&T on April 13 and is now a Goodmon Fellow.

The graduation was held at the RTP Foundation Headquarters, with keynote speaker, Cynthia Marshall, President of AT&T North Carolina. Jim Goodmon, President and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. and Chair Emeritus of Leadership Triangle also gave the graduates a few words of wisdom at their graduation.

This class series was an experiential learning opportunity for students selected to participate from the 11 universities, colleges and community colleges based in the Triangle area. The interactive curriculum focused on developing students’ leadership skills and providing them regional exposure.

They visited corporations, a federal building (Environmental Protection Agency), the Old Capitol building in Raleigh, NC and the new “green” building in the Triangle region, RTP Foundation Headquarters.
