Library hosts works of local artists

FALLBROOK – The Best of 2012 Show, featuring winners of the Fallbrook Art Association’s juried show, will be on display at the Fallbrook Public Library through June 28. The show includes 12 of the award winning local artists in both the professional and non-professional categories.

The artists are Janice Cipriani-Willis, Rich Stergulz, Robin Erickson, Chuck McPherson, Gasper Vaccaro, Carilyn Vice, Shelby Skinner, Chris Young, Karen Langer Baker, Ann Logan, Carol South and Anne Youngblood. Their recent works encompass representational and abstract art in oil, acrylic, watercolor and graphics.

The library will host an opportunity to meet the artists during an opening reception on Friday May 4 from 6 to 8 pm. The reception, which coincides with the nearby Art Center’s “Wildlife Art” reception, is open to the public with free admission and light refreshments.

The library’s “Best of Show” exhibition is available for viewing during regular library hours at 124 S. Mission Ave. For more information, go to
