18th annual Rainbow Days picnic May 19

RAINBOW – The 18th annual Rainbow Days picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat., May 19, at Rainbow Park, 5157 5th Street.

The event will include a plant sale, art show, games for children of all ages, raffles every half hour, and a complete barbecue lunch for $4. Admission is free.

The art show will feature work by students in every grade (K-8) at Vallecitos School, and will be judged by local artists. Winning art will be awarded cash prizes.

The plant sale will feature a broad assortment of plants grown at and donated by local nurseries. All proceeds go to Vallecitos School....
