The number of crimes in the Fallbrook jurisdiction dropped 10 percent in 2011 compared to 2010 and 29 percent from 2007 statistics, according to an annual regional crime report released April 25 by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). Fallbrook-based Sheriff’s Sgt. Joe Montion explained why crime has been on the decline.
