Warrior softball wins Consolation Championship of tourney

FALLBROOK - The 2012 Varsity Warriors softball team captured the Consolation Championship of the Warhawk-Friars Classic for the second straight year.

Going undefeated in pool play with victories over Our Lady of Peace, two-time defending Div. 4 CIF Champions Chula Vista Mater Dei, Valley Center, and La Jolla High, the Lady Warriors placed first in their pool and earned a spot in the semi-final game against Del Norte (18-2).
