MURRIETA - A woman who fatally stabbed a 60-year-old Anza man and then squatted on his property for days was convicted today of first-degree murder and other charges.
A Murrieta jury deliberated less than two days before finding Angela May Shaver, 48, guilty in the March 2006 death of Paul ''Pete'' Cline.
Along with the murder count, Shaver was convicted of a sentence- enhancing allegation of using a deadly weapon during a felony. Riverside County Superior Court Judge Kelly Hansen set a sentence hearing for Aug. 17.
