Shots fired at residences in San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO (CNS) - Deputies today were investigating reports of gunshots in a residential area of San Jacinto, a sheriff's department spokesman said.

Shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Tiger Lane and Santa Rosa Street, but found no signs of injured persons or suspects, said sheriff's Sgt. Joey Nardone.

About a half hour later, dispatchers received another call that shots were heard from a residence in the 300 block of Tahquitz Street, about a block south of the original call, according to Nardone.
