Missionaries visit Christ The King

FALLBROOK - Christ The King Lutheran Church supports many missionaries around the world, and recently were visited by missionaries David and Valerie Federwitz who work in Ghana with Lutheran Bible Translators. They have been serving the Komba people of Northern Ghana since 2003.

When they first arrived, the Komba were primarily a “verbal society,” very few could read or write. Seeing the need, David worked with nationals to develop and complete a Komba language primer series. They now conduct literacy workshops.
