Survey going out regarding downtown plan

A survey will be mailed out this week to the owners of approximately 400 parcels in the downtown area to see what the level of interest is in creating a community benefit district to improve the business heart of the village.

“How we proceed with this idea will depend on the results of this survey,” said Vince Ross, president of the Fallbrook Revitalization Council and Fallbrook Village Association, whose organizations has contemplated the idea and commissioned a county-funded study into it. “Times are so tough that we’ve got to do something that will create consistency for business.”
