RIVERSIDE - Fireworks shows celebrating America's 236th birthday began last night in Riverside County, ahead of a series of parades and pyrotechnic events planned countywide for today.
On Tuesday, July 3rd, at Storm Stadium in Lake Elsinore, a fireworks display was held at 9 p.m., following the Storm's game against the Bakersfield Blaze. Shows were scheduled around the same time at Jurupa Valley High School, 10551 Bellegrave Ave., and Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd.
On July 4th, Independence Day parades will be held in Corona, San Jacinto and Temecula.
