Two people fatally shot in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY (Wire Service) - Two people were fatally shot at a Moreno Valley home today, July 6, but the circumstances remained unclear.

The double homicide occurred in the predawn hours in the 24000 block of Myers Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's Sgt. Lisa McConnell said deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of a man with a gun around 4:45 a.m. and found two people mortally wounded from gunshots.
