Fire damages garage at Aguanga home

AGUANGA - A fire at an Aguanga home today damaged a garage but was stopped before reaching other parts of the residence.

The non-injury blaze broke out around 9:45 a.m. at a property near the intersection of Lake Riverside Drive and Forest Springs Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Six engine crews, numbering 21 firefighters, arrived minutes later and had the flames under control by 10:45 a.m., a fire department spokeswoman said....
