27-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine Gunnery Sgt. Daniel J. Price killed in combat

SAN DIEGO - The Pentagon today released the name of a 27-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine Gunnery Sgt. Daniel J. Price of Holland, Mich., died in Badghis Province, Afghanistan on Sunday, the Department of Defense reported.

Price was a member of 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion.
