Scattered thunderstorms continue to bring threat of flash flooding, no reports of injury after 1000 lightning strikes Monday

RIVERSIDE - Scattered afternoon and early evening thunderstorms are expected in the Coachella Valley and mountain areas of Riverside County for the second consecutive day today, posing a threat of flash flooding.
