Ramos-Young announce upcoming wedding

FALLBROOK - Fallbrook residents Alfonso and Elvira Ramos are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Karina Ramos to Bryant Young.

After seven years, Ramos and Young were engaged on New Years Day 2012, with the help of fireworks, a personalized slideshow, and an adorable ring.

Ramos was born in Mission Viejo and moved to Fallbrook at the age of 10. As a young adult, Ramos attended UC Irvine for two years, majoring in studio art, then changing to Japanese language and literature, but returned to studying art at Cal State San Bernardino, graduating in 2003 with a degree in art with an emphasis in graphic design.

Young was born in Honolulu and grew up on the island of Oahu. He graduated from the Academy of the Pacific in 2000 and moved to the mainland at 19.

The couple met in 2004 when Young discovered that he and Ramos had the same interests. Shortly after meeting, they began working together at the Village News as part of the production staff. Over the years, the entire office could see that they were meant to be.

Young eventually moved on to other web development projects and now works as a UI Engineer at SteelHouse, an eCommerce marketing company located in Culver City.

Friends and family will celebrate the nuptials with the happy couple on Aug. 11 at the Fallbrook Hacienda. The Youngs will reside in Los Angeles.
