FALLBROOK – In the centennial year of his birth, there will be a Woody Guthrie concert performed by Ross Moore & Friends at the Fallbrook Library. Woody Guthrie was born in 1912 and is an American legend whose legacy includes hundreds of traditional, political and children’s song, as well as ballads and improvised works.
This concert is being held on Aug. 12, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the community room at 124 S. Mission Rd. and is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library. Guests are encouraged to come listen to Guthrie’s music and bring an instrument to join in if they wish. Free....
