Local youth travel to Ethiopia in humanitarian effort

FALLBROOK – Nineteen missionaries participated in a 10-day youth mission trip in July to Ethiopia as part of an effort organized by Unforgotten Faces with the support of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church of Fallbrook.

The youth made the 9,325-mile journey in order to “give and serve,” said Frances Jones, an accompanying adult missionary and teacher at St. Peter’s school. “But [the youth] took home far more than they planned.”
