State Bar Declines to Delve Into Allegations Against Public Defender

RIVERSIDE - The State Bar of California will not act on allegations that Riverside County Public Defender Gary Windom is incompetent and has committed ethical breaches, county officials said today.

The State Bar sent a letter to the county saying that after reviewing the allegations, staff determined ''there are insufficient grounds for disciplinary action.''
