Summer fun at Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary

FALLBROOK – Fifteen local children had an opportunity this summer to learn many things about animals at the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary.

The kids learned animal drawing from artist Kyle Martines; dog training from Al Erikson (author of “Why Dogs Fly”); and about equine care from the pros at the San Dieguito Equine Hospital. The youngsters saw a spectacular presentation by K-9 officer Spike and his partner Nick Johnson from the La Palma Police Dept., heard about small animal veterinary care from Dr. Kathy Earle, DVM, and learned about pet grooming from Mindy of Kim & Mindy’s Pet Spa.
