Della Bybee Baker, 103, passed away peacefully on the morning of Aug. 7, with her daughter, Doreen, at her side.
She was born on April 8, 1909 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the second daughter and third child of Charles E. Bybee and Edna Dean Brown Bybee, both of Utah Pioneer heritage. She married her high school sweetheart, George Myron “Mike” Baker in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple in Logan, Utah in January, 1928. They moved to Loveland, Colo., and then to California, where George was employed by the J.C.Penney Co. until his retirement.
