Free prostate screenings Sept. 15 in Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – On Saturday, Sept. 15 from 7 to 9:30 a.m., the Fallbrook Healthcare District (FHD) and Fallbrook Family Health Center will again team up to provide free prostate cancer screenings. A PSA blood study and digital exam are provided at no charge to men who live in Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, or De Luz.

The annual effort is a community healthcare program of the FHD. It is recommended that men over the age of 50 have a prostate screening on an annual basis. Men who have a family history of prostate cancer should begin to have evaluations at least by age 40.
