Think twice about renting a room out

Here’s a little word of advice for anyone thinking of renting a room in their home. A friend of mine did so and after the first month the tenant became very abusive and terrorized my friend who had to have the sheriffs come out; they recognized the name.

After a day in court, they came and escorted the tenant out of the home. It turned out that she had a record; unfortunately my friend did not check her out as she was recommended to her by a person who attended the same church.

Be careful who you trust!
