The National Weather Service has announced a flash flood warning is in effect for North San Diego and Southern Riverside counties from 1:10 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, August 17.
Experts say, "subtropical moisture will continue to spread across southern California for the next several days with sufficient daytime heating and instability; slow-moving thunderstorms will form and be capable of producing very heavy rain, large rainfall amounts, and flash flooding."
